A single ReneSola Virtus II 250W polycrystalline panel, recovered from a decommissioned UK rooftop system and given a second working life instead of going to waste. Ideal if you’re adding a panel to a shed, van, boat or caravan, topping up a battery bank, or trying solar for the first time without committing to a pallet.
Reusing a panel keeps the energy and materials already invested in it working, avoids new manufacturing, and costs a fraction of new. Good for your budget, good for the planet.

Condition & Testing
Second-life. Every panel we sell has passed a full visual inspection for cracked glass, damaged frames and faulty junction boxes, and a selection from each batch has been electrically tested using a FLIR I-V curve tracer for broken strings and bypass diode faults. Expect light surface marks, minor frame scuffs and some backsheet weathering from outdoor service — none of it affects function. Sold as functional and not individually power-rated; output may be below the original 250W nameplate, as is normal for panels of this age. Manufacturer warranty does not transfer.
Will It Work With My System?
This is a standard 60-cell panel (Vmp 30.1V, Voc 37.4V). One panel charges a 12V battery through an MPPT controller; two in series suit 24V; three in series suit 48V. It’s not suitable for use with a PWM controller on a 24V bank.

Delivery & Collection
Single panels are too large for standard parcel couriers, so they ship by two-man delivery service to your door, quoted at checkout by postcode. Free collection from our site in Northamptonshire. Ordering several? Up to four panels travel together on one delivery; five or more are cheaper on a pallet.
